Easter Week Family Activities

Did you know that you should get your hair cut on Good Friday to prevent toothaches? That's just one of the many superstitions held by early frontier migrants and their ancestors.  Come experience Easter traditions of the past beginning this Thursday (March 24) and continuing through Easter Sunday.  There will be fun and educational activities for the entire family throughout the Museum from 9 am until 5 pm every day. Children’s Easter Workshop (3/26)

Join us on March 26th for a fun and educational children’s workshop in which the participants learn about Easter traditions from England, Germany, and early America. Participants decorate traditional Easter Eggs, take part in an Egg Hunt, make small hot cross buns, play games, and watch the burning of the fire wheel at the end of the day!
