Attention Educators… On July 20th, from 9:00 am – 1:00 pm, the Frontier Culture Museum will host “Sprouting Success“, a professional development workshop produced by Agriculture in the Classroom (agintheclass.org).
This professional development workshop will feature cross-curricular, standards-aligned lessons and resources that use Virginia agriculture and natural resources to engage PK-5 learners in science, mathematics, language arts and social studies.
Participants will enjoy:
- Hands-on, minds-on activities and make-and- takes
- Resource kits full of curriculum, books, posters and a class set of laminated Virginia maps ready to plant the seeds of knowledge.
