Carrier v. Bowman
This cause came on this day of December 1820 to be again heard on the Bill and the exhibits examination of witnesses & Record of the Jury & the Reports of the Marshal Commissioners Brought to the court of which there is no exception, it is therefore adjudged ordered & decreed that the cause be assigned. And it is further adjudged ordered & decreed that defendants the Executors of John Bowman pay unto the plaintiffs Peter Shaver & Barbara his wife the sum of $111.20 with equal interest thereon from this day 3 (?) 1820 until paid and to James Miller & Mary his wife the sum of $426.01 with equal interest thereon from this 3 day of (?) 1820 until paid and the plaintiff Richard Carrier pay unto the defendants the sum of $170.10 with like interest thereon from 3 day (?) 1820 until paid. And it is further adjudged ordered & decreed that the Plaintiffs Bill or any other relief be dismissed & that the plaintiffs Richard Carrier & Catherine his wife James Miller and Mary his wife & Peter Shaver and Barbara his wife pay unto the defendants a half the costs expended in their defense in the court as is the (?) of the (?) in the (?) and (?) law for Rockingham County and the (?) defendants shall have liberty to claim the (?) of the costs to be paid Peter Shaver & Barbara his wife & James Miller & Mary his wife and the money herein decreed to them and execution of this decree is (?) until the final day of January next.
