AUG 18: Roots Music Concert #3 - Gallatin Canyon (Free To Annual Pass Holders)

Roots Music Concert - Gallatin Canyon

The American Roots Music Concert Series returns for 2019 with four outstanding dinner-concert events featuring traditional Appalachian, bluegrass, blues, gospel, and old-time music. The concert series celebrates the influence of these musical roots genres on American frontier culture. Each concert provides a casual environment, and features dinner theater seating with food & beverage vendors under the Lee S. Cochran Pavilion. FREE to Annual Pass holders. Bring the entire family!

Despite the Montana namesake, Gallatin Canyon is a Charlottesville, Virginia-based bluegrass band. Influenced by dozens of artists, both contemporary and from the past, the band showcases masterful instrumentation, air-tight arrangements and soaring vocal harmonics. They perform not only traditional bluegrass music but also a wide variety of creatively-arranged favorites from the classic-rock and country genres. From Bill Monroe and Flatt & Scruggs, to the Beatles and the Avett Brothers, you’ll hear an eclectic and energetic mix crossing multiple musical genres.
