Calendar of Events – 2021



    • 3-4: Easter weekend
    • 24-30: Wool Week.   First two days marketed towards general public for the weekend with a textile focus, school focus on the weekdays. This is when we will re-staff the farms for the season.
  • May 4-7: Homeschool days/week.
  • May 29-31: Memorial day weekend. interpreter activities augmented by small reenactor military timeline (because it’s a military holiday)
  • June 19: Juneteenth. Details TBD.
  • July 3-4: 4th of July Weekend. Not exclusively virtual this year.
  • August 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th: Roots Concerts.
  • September 4-6: Labor Day weekend. Interpretive focus on labor (trades/work demos) and leisure (games, bbq, etc) likely to have some small reenactor support.
  • September 7-10 Homeschool days/week.
  • Also September: Nonfiction nights, exact date TBD.
  • October 16: Archaeology Day.
  • October 23-24: “A Global Tempest” (rev war weekend w/ reenactor support)
  • Early Nov: Hammer in??? Pending more information.
  • November: Something for Native history month, TBD
  • Nov 26: Holiday Market.
  • Dec 3-5, 10-12, 17-19: Lantern Tours/whatever we’re calling it. This assumes we stick to the three weekends Friday-Sunday Model. (Talk to Ray & Makayla about division of labor)
