Join us for our annual Oktoberfest celebration Saturday, October 6th at the Frontier Culture Museum!
The Festival opens at 12:00 noon and we’ll have traditional food, dancing, good beer, authentic music, and plenty of fun for all ages.

As a bonus…. Your ticket also gives you admission to the entire Museum! The Museum’s exhibits open at 9:00 am, so come early and tour the German Farm relocated from Hordt, Germany.
We’ll be brewing beer using traditional Old World methods.

* Rhthym Road is Staunton’s very own 4-piece band playing German and American Roots Music.
** The Schwartz Sauerkraut Band is a professional musical organization based in the New River Valley in Southwest Virginia performing authentic German style music in traditional Bavarian style clothing. The musical styles include traditional beer tent favorites such as Leichtensteiner Polka, Rosemunde (Beer Barrel Polka), Alte Kameraden Marsch, Yorkshire Marsch, and group-participation numbers such as The Chicken Dance and Rucki Zucki.
*** S.G.T.E.V. Hirschjäger is a group of Bavarian Dancers whose mission is to preserve the traditional German Dance and the Tracht (clothing) by performing at different venues throughout the state of Virginia. Come to Oktoberfest and dance with them!
